Dreamland Pups offers a 3-day written health guarantee on all puppies. We guarantee that the puppy
is free of distemper, parvovirus and hepatitis. Our 3-day health guarantee is only valid if two
unassociated licensed veterinarians examine the puppy during the first 3-days and any of these
diesases are detected. We must be notified immediately and supplied with both vet reports for this
health guarantee to be valid. We will then provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. The
original puppy must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified problem or
euthanized with our permission at your expense to qualify for a replacement puppy. The
replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It
is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as the original
puppy. No refund, in part or in full, will be given. All shipping costs to return the puppy to us and to
replace the puppy are the responsibility of the buyer.
This guarantee does not cover Coccidia, Giardia, and Kennel Cough, which are common in puppies
that are shipped and is usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and, like the common
cold, must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough, on its own, is not life
threatening. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as but
not limited to: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, cancer, tumors, growths, scabies,
mite related illness, viral infections and other autoimmune disorders which are not covered by this
guarantee.
All of our puppies are current on their vaccinations and worming prior to shipping. Our veterinarian,
on or about 8 weeks of age, examines all puppies. A health record is provided on each puppy we
ship with all information of vaccinations and worming.
Puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment. Minor problems such as
diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc., may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the
responsibility of you, the buyer, and if your puppy shows any of these signs we strongly encourage
you to have your puppy checked by a veterinarian.
Your puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases
which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia, which hampers a
dog’s movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct; kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and
liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. We will not supply a replacement
puppy in the event of any problem that is not related to a life-threatening congenital defect nor for
a puppy’s illness caused by accident, neglect, or abuse. In the event of the puppy’s death, an official
autopsy must be performed to determine the cause of death. Such an autopsy must be performed by
an accredited institution set up for such procedures, with all expenses to be paid by the buyer. The
autopsy must accompany any request for replacement. This guarantee is void if the buyer fails to
maintain recommended vaccinations and/or regular examinations with a licensed veterinarian. Proof
of this maintenance must be furnished upon request of the breeder.
A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows: Animal must
show the defect by one year of age. We must be notified of the problem within two business days
of the licensed veterinarian’s determination with a report and have one report from an unassociated
veterinarian stating the same problem. We will then provide a replacement puppy of equivalent
value. A puppy with a defect must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified
problem or euthanized with our permission at your expense to qualify for a replacement puppy. The
replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It
is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as the original
puppy. No refund, in part or in full, will be given. All shipping costs to return the original puppy and
replace the puppy are the responsibility of the buyer.
No warranty or guarantee is made to the show quality, lifespan, size, color, disposition, or breeding
quality of this puppy. You, as the buyer, are fully aware that owning a puppy means trips to the
veterinarian and understand that you will be responsible for all payments. This guarantee applies to
the original purchaser only and is nontransferable to a second party. By purchasing a puppy from
Dreamland Pups in Missouri you acknowledge that you understand and agree to all terms and
conditions of our guarantees.
